Some Days Are Better Than Others

Over the course of a lifetime, we all experience a vast spectrum of emotions; everything from Anger to Zeal. This is healthy and necessary for a full and rich life experience. But, some days are, indeed, more challenging than others. So it’s helpful to have a few tools in your spiritual tool-belt to support you on the darker, more volatile days.

Here’s some inspiration to help shift the energies upward when the saboteurs of joy come a-calling.

First off: This video is one I watch again and again. You’ll understand why, after you’ve viewed it. It contains large, golden nuggets of wisdom, and…even though it’s an eulogy…it is very uplifting!

This Proverb is so dear to me that I wrote it down on a piece of stationary and placed it in a sterling silver frame. It sits on my writing desk where I can see it every day and become connected to its power. Finally, this pearl of wisdom from Saint Teresa of Avila will always soothe your worries away:

Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things.
Whoever has God lacks nothing;
God alone suffices.”

Always remember no situation, person, or emotion, has any power over you. You are always free! Feel empowered by your eternal connection with the Divine which resides in your solar plexus (your gut) and draw your strength from within that city of jewels. You are never alone and you are tremendously loved at all times, so, in knowing this, go and live your life fearlessly!! And, on that note, this post is complete with this classic gem:
